The GR 11.5 starts by crossing the Benasque valley, passing by iconic spots like the Baños and Hospital de Benasque, Plan d’Están and La Besurta. After reaching the Refugio de La Renclusa, the trail descends to Aiguallut, continues through the Barrancs valley to the Collado de Salenques (2,809 m), skirts the Pico Russell, passes by the Ibón Cap de la Vall and once again links up with the GR 11 at the Collada d 'els Estanyets, very close to the Refugio Cap de Llauset, which has a groundskeeper.
